Zack Godshall’s documentary God’s Architects tells the stories of five men who build big things, like castles, towers, lighthouses, and mountains.  With neither funding, nor blueprints, these builders do everything they can to bring their visions into being.

At the New Orleans Film Festival, Godshall was named the 2009 Louisiana Filmmaker of the Year for his work on God’s Architects.  The film was also awarded the Juror’s Choice Award at the Tupelo Film Festival.

The film features the following builders:
Floyd Banks, Jr. of Greenback, Tennessee
Reverend H.D. Dennis of Vicksburg, Mississippi
Margaret Dennis of Vicksburg, Mississippi
Leonard Knight of Niland, California
Julius Neil of Chauvin, Louisiana
Shelby Ravellette of Omaha Arkansas
and work by Kenny Hill in Chauvin, Louisiana
